Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services give update on missing person Leo Wagner

Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services on Tuesday morning provided a timeline and update on the disappearance of Leo Wagner, 26, who went missing on the Blackfeet Reservation on April 27.
Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services (BLES) Officer Frank Goings on Facebook Live said that Wagner was last seen by family and friends near the St. Mary and Babb areas. He said the investigation into Wagner s disappearance is open and ongoing.
Goings said BLES officers on April 27 responded to a call in St. Mary about a man under the influence walking near St. Mary Lake. When BLES responded, they were unable to locate the man. BLES received a second call that the same man was walking North on West Shore Road with an injured arm. BLES responded and searched the road, St. Mary and Babb but were unsuccessful, according to Goings.
BROWNING, Mont. - The Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services held a press conference Thursday addressing search efforts surrounding the missing 3-year-old Arden Pepion.Â
According to BLES, Arden was with her uncle when she went missing at 7 p.m. on April 22 on the Blackfeet Reservation.
Authorities found footprints leading to the river and one of her boots that was in the river after several days of searching. BLES said they do not believe Arden was abducted.
Search crews will continue search efforts for Arden Thursday. In addition, they will continue search efforts for Leo Wagner who went missing April 27 now that the weather is more mild, according to BLES.

Pepion was last seen in the surrounding areas of Joe Show East Road in Browning near the Two Medicine River.
The update came in response to growing calls for transparency in the investigation. Community members have expressed frustration, wondering why BLES didn t issue an AMBER alert for Arden and why the search effort was scaled back.
Officer Frank Goings said on Facebook Live that Arden had been missing between five and six hours before dispatch was contacted. He said Arden was last seen with her noncustodial uncle, and when contacted about the case, Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services (BLES) responded immediately.
