For the Cheshire Youth Make an Impact calendar, Cheshire High School graduate Abby Dziura, as well as juniors Juliette Markman and Jenna Tiso, have been recognized for the month of February. In forming the group, Unity, last year, the girls sold stickers and car decals to raise money for Black Lives Matter, the Innocence Project, and the Black Trans Femmes in the Arts Collective.

CHESHIRE â Like countless teenagers, Cheshire High School junior Juliette Markman recalls going through a hard time last spring. Along with not being able to see her friends due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, she was disturbed by the images she saw on television and the Internet.

But photographer Alexandra Leese is proving that we might be seriously underestimating the role that gender stigmatisation plays both in human relationship and image-making itself.
