GREENSBORO, Md. – A Denton man has been arrested in connection to a vehicle fire that took place late last year.
During the early morning hours of December 13th, the Greensboro Volunteer Fire Company and Caroline County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fire that completely destroyed a 2014 Ford Focus valued at approximately $8,000.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect, 33-year-old Nicholas Conner, was driving the vehicle without a valid driver’s license when he was involved in a single vehicle crash, which damaged the vehicle. Because of the damage and a suspended driver’s license, police say Conner intentionally set fire to the vehicle in an attempt to conceal it.
