CARROLLTON, Ga. The only law enforcement officer that remains in the hospital after being shot last week during a chase in Carroll County is making tremendous strides, according to a Sunday update on Facebook.
Carrollton Police Sgt. Rob Holloway is doing amazingly well, according to an update on social media. Sgt. Holloway’s neurosurgeon came in, removed the last tube from his head, stitched him up, and said he was doing amazingly well, they wrote in the update. She added that she is optimistic that he will be able to walk, talk, and move as he did before.

CARROLLTON, Ga. - Officials provided an optimistic update on the recovery of a police officer shot in the line of duty.
The surgeon of the Carrollton Police Department officer shot during a violent high-speed chase is optimistic the sergeant will make a full recovery, the police department said Sunday.
In a Facebook post, Carrollton police said Sgt. Rob Holloway s neurosurgeon removed the final tube from his head and said he was doing amazingly well.

CARROLLTON, Ga. - On Thursday evening, the son of wounded Carrollton Police Department Sgt. Rob Holloway accepted an academic award at a ceremony for seniors.
Holloway, unable to attend while he recovered at Grady Hospital from the wound he sustained Monday, watched from Atlanta. Dozens from the Carrollton PD represented him at the ceremony, where Carrollton High School recognized Holloway s son, Grady, as an honor graduate.
