Local News Briefs: Council to hold rezoning hearing Staff Report Council to hold rezoning hearing Cambridge City Council will hold a public hearing on a request to rezone a portion of the First Ward at 5 p.m. Aug. 2, in council chambers. A map of the area can be viewed at the clerk s office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Spencer trustees to meet Spencer Township Tustees discussed the upcoming cemetery levy renewal at a recent meeting. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m., July 19, in the Spencer Township Building in Cumberland. Veteran Coffee Hour The Area Agency on Aging Region 9 will begin a monthly veteran’s coffee hour July 21. It will take place at 10 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at 710 Wheeling Ave. It s open to any veteran residing in  Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum and Tuscarawas counties.
