(KERO) — The Kern County District Attorney s Office announced the conviction of a man for 10 counts of child molestation against three victims stemming back to 1993. A Kern County jury found defendant Gilbert Arizmendez Barriga guilty of 10 counts of child sexual molestation, including lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 years, continuous child sexual abuse, oral copulation with a child 10 years old or younger, sexual penetration of a child 10 years old or younger, and sexual intercourse with a child 10 years old or younger.

Covarrubias alleged he injured his left ankle, foot, heel, and back when he misstepped while sweeping. (KERO) — One man accused in a deadly stabbing of another man near the Fox Theater nearly three years ago was found guilty Wednesday. The Kern County District Attorney s office says Joel Rodriguez was found guilty of second-degree murder and assault for his role in the February 2018 stabbing of Kasey Villegas. During a concert at the Fox Theater, Villegas started an argument inside the venue with another man and his family. The altercation then spilled outside of the theater, which eventually led to Rodriguez stabbing Villegas four times in the head.
