Subscriber only The Sunshine Coast will come together on the weekend to honour the men and women who put their lives on the line as Anzac Day services are held across the region. Last year residents commemorated Anzac Day like never before as virus restrictions forced the cancellation of several marches and services. Some events will not go ahead on Sunday due to the recent outbreak in Brisbane as there was too little time to make suitable preparations under the previous guidelines. The Daily has listed all the services that are proceeding as normal, including business closures on Sunday and the public holiday on Monday below.

A person has been taken to hospital after a car came off the road and crashed into a tree in Buderim.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said they received a call at 1.58pm of a car hitting a tree near the Dixon Rd off ramp.
He said paramedics transported one person to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Paramedics are also on scene at a two-vehicle crash in Caloundra.
He said an ambulance was called to the crash which happened in the Caloundra Shopping Centre car park just before 2.30pm.
Two people have been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions and paramedics are still on scene with a third person, who may also require transport to hospital.
