Fifth edition of Mahaseel Festival begins at Katara  24 Dec 2020 - 9:33 The Peninsula Doha: Organised by the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), the fifth edition of Mahaseel Festival inaugurated yesterday and it will continue until January 2. The opening was attended by a number of Ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions in Doha, in addition to Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs at the MME, Masoud Jarallah Al Marri, and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Mahaseel Festival, Salman Al Nuaimi.  Owners of Qatari farms, representatives of the participating national companies and large number of visitors to Katara also attended the opening.

Mahaseel Festival kicks off at Katara Dec 24, 2020 The fifth edition of Mahaseel Festival, organised by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) in cooperation with the Ministry of municipality and Environment (MME), was launched on Wednesday. The festival will continue until January 2. On its first day, the festival witnessed a large number of visitors, as the organising committee of the festival seeks to provide wide range of options for shoppers, including fresh vegetables, dates and food products. Mahaseel Festival provides an excellent platform to Katara’s visitors, as it displays the finest crops and fresh Qatari agricultural products from national farms, such as vegetables, fruits, milk and cheese, in addition to meat, poultry, birds, honey and natural juices, as well as roses, flower nurseries and ornamental plants for home gardens.

Katara holds Qatari artist s photograph exhibition in Moldova  20 Dec 2020 - 9:21 Dozens of photographs by Ali Issa Al Nuaimi capturing Qatar s past, present and future are on display at the exhibition taking place at Moldova s National Art Museum. The Peninsula Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) organised an exhibition entitled “Qatar the Past, Present and Future” at the National Art Museum in the Republic of Moldova, on the occasion of the Qatar National Day. The event was organised in collaboration with the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Moldova and the Embassy of the Republic of Modlova in Qatar. The exhibition was opened on Friday by Hamad bin Rashid Al Athba, Acting Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition included 40 photographs by Ali Issa Al Nuaimi that dealt with Qatar in various periods of time.

Local agricultural produce festival Mahaseel to begin on Wednesday  20 Dec 2020 - 14:48 The Peninsula Doha: The fifth edition of the annual Mahaseel Festival, organized by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, will be launched on Wednesday and will run until Jan. 2. National companies specializing in food production, livestock and poultry, in addition to Qatari farms and greenhouses, will participate in the fifth edition of the Mahaseel Festival. The festival will include 45 stalls representing about 28 Qatari farms and 9 national companies specialized in the production of meat, eggs, poultry, milk and its derivatives, in addition to the participation of the flower, roses and ornamental plants sector, which is represented by 8 nurseries.
