EU unpublished report finds Palestinian textbooks contain anti-Semitism, incitement
The European Union continues to invest millions in funding the Palestinian Authority’s educational system without demanding that it stop “indoctrinating its children to hate and kill,” stated a spokesperson for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The German newspaper
BILD published findings from the report on Tuesday and asked why they were never publicized. The publication stated that the report was commissioned in 2019 by then-E.U. foreign affairs representative Federica Mogherini and examined teaching instructions published by the Palestinian Ministry of Education between 2017 and 2020.
The report, which analyzed 314 textbooks studied in Qatar over the last four years, found inciteful material that includes praise of Hamas rocket fire on Israel’s civilian population and the erasure of Israel from maps

More violence has erupted in Israel. Children and adults have been beaten in the streets of Jerusalem. Confrontation with the police and attacks on religious Jews have become daily occurrences. Many of the attackers have been so brazen as to share their assaults on social media. The violence is clearly motivated by the world’s oldest method of hatred – antisemitism – and with the help of the United Nations, it has become a cornerstone of terrorist recruitment.

In a sign of the times, Turkish schoolbooks have replaced Saudi texts as the focus of criticism of supremacist and intolerant curricula in the Muslim world.
(April 28, 2021 / Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies) According to a recently released analysis of 28 Turkish textbooks, that country’s education system, which was once a model of secularism that taught evolution, cultural openness, tolerance toward minorities and Kurdish as a minority language, has increasingly replaced those concepts with notions of jihad, martyrdom in battle and a neo-Ottoman and pan-Turkist ethno-religious worldview.
