People planning to travel to Bumburet Valley, one of the most popular sites in Kalash Valley, can stay in camping pods for Rs3,000 per night.

Pods have two or four rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen among other facilities. The pods were installed in 2019 with the aim to promote tourism.

A two-bedroom pod will cost Rs3,000 per night, while the one with four bedrooms costs Rs5,000.

CHITRAL: The euphoria on the winning of the Senate election by a woman candidate of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf continued in Chitral district for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday.
Besides the PTI workers and activists, members of civil society and general public also took part in the celebrations of Falak Naz victory on the women seat in the recent Senate election and distributed sweets among the people.
They thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan for electing a woman hailing from a middle class on the Senate coveted seat from the backward district of Chitral.

A Russian man hunted an eight-year-old Kashmir markhor in Gilgit-Baltistan s Gahirat Gol on Saturday.
The markhor had 38-inch horns.
The hunted paid $64,000 to hunt Pakistanâs national animal as part of the country s trophy hunting programme.
This was the third and final hunt of the season. Previously, two American hunters have killed two markhors in the region.
Markhor is protected by the local and international laws like the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species. It can be found in Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, Kalash Valley, Hunza among other Northern parts of Pakistan.
