LOS ANGELES (AP) Word that COVID-19 vaccination slots were available for all adults at the huge California State University, Los Angeles, site drew a quick response Thursday.
KTLA-TV reported that people were being turned away by late morning.
The Cal State LA site was established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and California s Office of Emergency Services but will be turned over to the city of Los Angeles next week.
“We’re light on appointments for the next several days. We want to finish strong and use up every dose we have,” Cal OES spokesman Greg Renick told the Los Angeles Daily News on Wednesday.
