A parent sent the following literature from the camp to Reopen California Schools (@ReopenCASchools) - a group which recently filed a lawsuit against Newsom over masking requirements in classrooms.
A waiver form for kids to participate in camp sporting activities reads:
Masks will not be enforced. Please know that your child is more than welcome to wear a mask during camp.

Newsom sent his son Hunter, 10, and daughter Montana, 11, to a basketball camp
The unnamed camp sent an email to parents saying masks wouldn t be enforced
On July 9, Newsom issued a mandate that kids and teachers had to wear masks in schools
On Monday, a photo emerged online of Newsom s son Hunter at the camp without a mask
It had been posted on the camp s Instagram page and picked up by reopening campaign groups
Newsom then announced he was taking his kids out of the camp
His spokesperson said the family missed the email about not wearing masks
Last year, Newsom was photographed at a group dinner of more than 10 people

The Epoch Times, veteran writer John Seiler put forth a set of strategies for a Republican to beat California Governor Gavin Newsom in the state’s September 14th recall election.
