Mercifully, the United States Supreme Court recently stepped in and returned our religious rights, but the threat from Newsom and others to undermine those rights again is still looming.” Require that the Governor and local governments treat religious services as an essential service (just like retail) during any declared state of emergency; and

Educators Rank-and-File Safety Committee meets as Democrats push to restart in-person classes in Chicago and other cities The Educators Rank-and-File Safety Committee in the United States held its second public meeting of 2021 on Saturday, January 30, to discuss the fight against the Biden administration’s drive to reopen schools as the coronavirus pandemic reaches a new and deadlier phase. The meeting was held as thousands of Chicago educators were battling efforts by Democratic Mayor Lori Lightfoot to resume in-person classes in the nation’s third largest school district. The meeting was attended by nearly 200 people, most of them educators from all across the United States, as well as Europe, Latin America and Asia. Santa Monica Pier Temporarily Open For Weekends

Canyon News SANTA MONICA With the weekend closure of Santa Monica Pier that begun January 10, people were forced to stay away from the historical site, but with the recent ease on stay-at-home order by California Governor Newsom more essential businesses will be allowed to up their outdoor and indoor operations.  The city of Santa Monica will re-open the Santa Monica Pier on Friday, January 29 thru Sunday, January 31. Public Relations Officer of the city of Santa Monica, Constance Farell, told Canyon News: “The Santa Monica Pier will reopen this weekend to align with Los Angeles County relaxing the health officer orders that will allow for outdoor dining to resume, as well as operations for other businesses shared earlier this week.”
