Schwab, 54, of Davis, as deputy director and chief counsel at the California Department of Social Services, where she has served in that role since 2015. She held multiple positions at the California Department of Social Services from 2000 to 2015, including assistant chief counsel, senior staff counsel and staff counsel. She was an associate attorney at McDonough, Holland and Allen from 1995 to 2000 and at Burger and Plavan from 1993 to 1995.
