LOS ANGELES, April 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce announced today the addition of three new members to its board of directors. The Latino Chamber is the leading organization dedicated to organizing and uniting Latino business owners to grow and create positive economic impact. Its mission is to facilitate economic structures and policy initiatives that empower Latino business development and foster economic development across the Los Angeles region.

(CBM) – California is taking steps to reopen its economy on June 15. The plans are underway as leaders in public health and local government come up with the next steps in the state’s COVID-19 pandemic recovery.
Efforts to reopen the state are, “driven by the health and science to help nonprofit community organizations and businesses get back on track,” said Dee Dee Myers, director of the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz).
So far, the state has administered 22 million vaccines since it expanded its efforts to immunize everyone in California against COVID-19. A fifth of the vaccine doses were allocated to communities most impacted by the pandemic. According to the California Health and Human Services Agency (CHHS), the number of hospitalizations has declined as testing increases and vaccine eligibility expands.

Los Angeles Times reports the 14 week concert season could have the potential for full capacity if trends continue downward and follow California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s plan to fully open the state by June 15. That’s 17,500 seats for the Hollywood Bowl, among other performance venues that could open with full capacity by then.
For the first time in its almost 100 year history, the entire 2020 season was canceled last May due to the coronavirus pandemic. As with most live music venues throughout the Southland, the Bowl hasn’t seen a live act on its historic stage in almost one year.
