The percentage indicates that nearly two-thirds of students enrolled at UC Davis for this fall have submitted proof of vaccination to the university, while more than a third of the student body has yet to do so. UC Davis has announced that the vast majority of classes will be held in person and that remote learning opportunities will be limited this fall. On July 15, the University of California system finalized a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for students and employees at all UC campuses. The mandate requires that students and staff submit proof of vaccination through an online portal before Sept. 8, two weeks prior to the start of the fall quarter.
