California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on Tuesday joined a coalition of 11 attorneys general in securing a multistate settlement against a deceptive
veteran charity, Healing Heroes Network, Inc. (Healing Heroes), and its former directors, Stacey Spiegel, Allan Spiegel and Neal Spiegel. The settlement resolves allegations that the former directors engaged in deceptive charitable solicitations, falsely claiming that 100 percent of the organization’s donations went towards helping veterans.
