Another judge blocked the President from dropping a rule Obama put in place. Obama isn’t President any longer, but judges seem to think his rules must be upheld as if they were passed by Congress.
A federal judge in California temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s plan to exempt companies with religious or moral objections from an Obamacare requirement that employers include free contraception in their health-care plans, though the ruling only applies in 13 states.
That is commonly known as the Hobby Lobby case. Democrats/Socialists demand companies pay for birth control. It is about forcing people to go against their religious beliefs.
Biden’s Nominees Promptly Confirmed, So Far
Biden is far ahead of Trump in 2017, when Democrats used parliamentary tactics to delay confirmations
Senate Republicans are mounting much less opposition to President Joe Biden’s major appointees in 2021 than Democrats did against President Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees in 2017.
Four of Biden’s top picks have been confirmed quickly by the Senate, which is split 50-50 between Democrats and Republicans, with Vice President Kamala Harris providing the tie-breaking vote that also makes Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) the Senate majority leader.
Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines was confirmed just a few hours after Biden took the oath of office on Jan. 20, with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin approved by the Senate two days later on a 93–2 vote.

The world could be on the verge of having two more vaccines to fight the pandemic, but virus variants popping up worldwide are forcing vaccine-makers to develop boosters for a disease thatâs constantly changing and could remain active for years.

Meanwhile, new studies show that two othersâfrom Johnson & Johnson and Novavaxâpack potent punches against the virus, potentially paving a way for quick authorizations in the U.S. for J&Jâs vaccine and in the U.K. for Novavaxâs shot.

at 9:18 am NPR
In the weeks after winning the November election, Joe Biden began naming officials to tackle the vortex of crises his administration would face on day one.
There was a team for the coronavirus, a team for climate change, a team for racial justice and a team for the stricken economy.
But despite a soaring death rate from drug overdoses, which hit a grim new record in 2020, President Biden hasn t named permanent leaders for three key agencies tasked with tackling the drug epidemic: the Food and Drug Administration, the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

WASHINGTON, DC President Joe Biden on Thursday ordered government health insurance markets to reopen for a special sign-up window, offering uninsured Americans a haven as the spread of COVID-19 remains dangerously high and vaccines aren t yet widely available.
Biden signed an executive order directing the HealthCare.gov insurance markets to take new applications for subsidized benefits, something Donald Trump s administration had refused to do. He also instructed his administration to consider reversing other Trump health care policies, including curbs on abortion counseling and the imposition of work requirements for low-income people getting Medicaid.
