FDAC receives funds for Arts Station update | Elk Valley, Fernie

Posted: February 4, 2021 FDAC receives funds for Arts Station update The Fernie & District Arts Council (FDAC) is excited to receive funding from the Arts Infrastructure Program from BC Arts Council. We have been awarded $75,000 towards the update of The Arts Station facilities to Universal Washrooms. This project will also be supported by the City of Fernie including in-kind staffing and budget towards the removal of hazardous waste and sewage repair. The construction will not begin until 2022 but in the meantime lots of behind the scenes work will take place to ensure the success of this project. We are excited to be a step closer to an accessible and inclusive community arts centre for all.
