Date Time More than $50,000 in RADF grants awarded to Townsville artists Seven artists and groups across Townsville have had their Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants approved at this week’s Townsville City Council meeting. RADF is a joint Arts Queensland and Townsville City Council program to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland. Community and Cultural Development Committee chairperson Ann-Maree Greaney said 13 funding applications were made. “Council received 13 applications for this RADF round, but after they were assessed by the RADF Interim Panel seven applications have been recommended for funding,” Cr Greaney said. “The seven successful artists will receive a total of $50,621 and will have 12 months to complete their projects.”
