The story of the little arts centre in Derry which has made a big difference to many people s lives For decades, Eden Place Arts Centre, which is based at Pilot s Row Community Centre in Derry, has been providing opportunities for people to learn new skills and hobbies. The centre has also helped foster great friendships and is a special place for so many people. Here, those involved in setting up and developing the arts centre look back on how far it has come and the impact that it has had on so many people s lives.     At a meeting with the sector, the Minister outlined a further round of the Individuals Emergency Resilience Programme (IERP) will open for applications on 17 December.     Applicants experiencing financial hardship as a result of Covid-19 will be able to apply for support of up to £5,000 – or £7,500 for disabled individuals with support costs. This is the third emergency programme targeted directly at individuals and will be delivered by Arts Council NI on behalf of the Department. Information on eligibility and guidance is now available on their website. The funding is aimed at venue support staff, singer-songwriters, session musicians, set designers, lighting and sound technicians, artists, actors, DJs, musicians, rappers, writers/poets, comedians, open mike performers, tutors and facilitators, dancers, choreographers, editors and proofreaders, craftspeople.
