Sir Daniel Winn to Create New Statuettes for AWFF’s Snow Leopard Awards, Humanitarian Award, and Red Cross Award BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (PRWEB) April 15, 2021 Sir Daniel Winn, world renowned artist, curator, and owner of the prestigious Winn Slavin Fine Art Gallery in Beverly Hills, has been commissioned by the Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) to design the new statuettes for their Snow Leopard Awards, Humanitarian Award, and Red Cross Award. In addition to sculpting the designs, Sir Daniel Winn will also be presenting the Humanitarian Award to the winner at this year’s awards ceremony.

It’s Moira Rose’s favorite season: awards. But obviously, given how COVID-19 is still a thing, awards ceremonies are very different this time around. This year’s Oscars will be the first under the pandemic and the Academy Awards decided to forego the painful awkwardness of a Zoom ceremony like the one we sat through at the recent Golden Globes. Though an in-person show makes for a better viewing experience, it’s still pretty concerning because we’re still very much in the midst of a pandemic. We’ll have to see how efficient the Oscars ceremony is at making sure celebs can pal around and collect their awards in-person without it being the superspreader event of the season. The new episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. that will air this week on NBC were all directed by women.
It’s a big night for the One Chicago shows, as it will showcase three talented female directors – SJ Main Muñoz (Chicago Med), Brenna Malloy (Chicago Fire), and Bethany Rooney (Chicago P.D.).
This will all take place on the evening of Wednesday, April 7 and it will mark a night packed with new content for the fans.
