As 2020 comes to a close, we here at JoBlo.com would like to take a moment to honour some of the people who sadly passed away this year. Our deepest respect goes out to everyone in the industry we have lost, and our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of those who died in 2020. These talented individuals will always be remembered for their impact on the world of film and television.

Buck Henry
Buck Henry passed away on January 8th at the age of 89 due to a heart attack. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Henry joined The Premise, an improv comedy group that performed in the West Village in Manhattan. From there, Henry went on to write for Steve Allen and Garry Moore, and he was even the face of an elaborate hoax created by comedian Alan Abel that spanned close to three years. Henry made many public appearances as G. Clifford Prout, the president of the Society for Indecency

James Harden s greatness is connected to his ability to act. No NBA player draws as many fouls or makes the game less enjoyable to watch by marching to the free-throw line. He ll throw his head back at the faintest of contact and splay all his limbs out akimbo like a rag doll to sell a call. As well he should since the league is offensive-minded and bends its rules to maximize stardom.
The sweet-shooting lefty is not thrilled about his current lot in life: making $38 million annually to play basketball for the Daryl Morey-less Houston Rockets. He was late arriving to join the team amidst trade demands and when he did, he showed up looking much different than he did the last time we saw him in public. It was hard not to notice the elephant ear in the room, which manifested itself in the form of dozens of extra pounds.
Adrien Brody Joins Searchlight Pictures’ Star-Studded Murder Mystery
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar winner Adrien Brody has officially signed on to join the ensemble cast of Searchlight Pictures’ untitled murder mystery film, in which he is set to portray the role of blacklisted Hollywood film director, Leo Köpernick. Brody joins previously announced four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, Oscar winner Sam Rockwell and Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo.
Set in 1950s London, the untitled film begins when a desperate Hollywood film producer sets out to turn a popular West End play into a film. However, when members of the production are murdered, world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and overzealous rookie Constable Stalker (Ronan) find themselves in the midst of a puzzling whodunit within London’s glamorous Theatreland and sordid underground.
