CALGARY The Canmore Folk Music Festival will not be going ahead in 2021, officials announced this week. We are as heartbroken as you are, officials said in a statement. Although many things are looking positive, there’s still too much uncertainty and risk for us to plan a full in-person event. When weighing the risk of public safety and financial viability, it’s with our community in mind that we will be cancelling our in–person August long weekend festival in 2021. The arts and live-music scenes have been particularly hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been ongoing for just over a year.

Later, when June and producer Jack Splash moved the project to another studio in Los Angeles, the singer says she went outside on the final night of recording and looked up just in time to see three shooting stars blaze through the night sky.

For most people, Ralph Wiggum is not the first character who springs to mind when hearing a chill, funky bass line.
For the uninitiated, the sweet-natured but unsettlingly strange son of Police Chief Clancy Wiggum on The Simpsons TV show has an overactive bladder, talks in cheerful non-sequiturs, sticks flutes up his nose and is oblivious to the rules of Duck Duck Goose. In fact, it could be argued that he is one of the least cool characters in the history of television.
