OHIO s College of Business Andrew Pueschel awarded MAC-Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success for 2021

Ohio University College of Business associate professor of instruction in the management department Dr. Andrew Pueschel has been selected as the Ohio University winner of the second annual Mid-American Conference (MAC) Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success. “Our faculty are extremely committed to student success both in and out of the classroom, especially Dr. Pueschel, who constantly serves his students and encourages them to go after their goals,” Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs said. “I am very proud of Andrew for being selected for this award. He is very deserving to be recognized for his outstanding dedication exhibited throughout his interactions with student.”

ULM to hold 4 commencement ceremonies Saturday; watch livestream on ulm.edu facebook like button Published May 12, 2021 The University of Louisiana Monroe will have four commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 15, 2021, to recognize the graduating class of Spring 2021.    The four colleges, Arts, Education, and Sciences, Business and Social Sciences, Health Sciences, and Pharmacy, will have separate ceremonies in Fant-Ewing Coliseum. State COVID-19 requirements limit the number of people allowed in public buildings.    Each graduate is allowed to have 10 guests. Guests must wear facemasks inside the coliseum and are asked to maintain social distancing from other parties. Graduates are required to wear a solid color or ULM-branded mask.  

5 Students Selected to Speak at UK Commencement Ceremonies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 13, 2021)   Per University of Kentucky tradition, UK President Eli Capilouto has selected student representatives to speak at the UK Commencement Ceremonies May 14-16, at Rupp Arena. Five speakers in total were selected. Each speaker will address two of the 10 ceremonies. Given limitations on the number of people allowed on the stage, the speeches will be pre-recorded. The five student speakers are: Sy Bridenbaugh Bridenbaugh, from Richmond, Kentucky, is graduating with a doctoral degree in educational policy studies and evaluation from the UK College of Education. After suffering a severe football injury in high school, Bridenbaugh contracted a bacterial infection that resulted in losing his leg, and almost his life. After his leg was amputated, he made a decision to direct his passion for football to education. As an amputee, he embraces the unique way he lives his life. Tarleton President James Hurley will preside over four ceremonies, beginning at 9 a.m. Friday. Dates and times: • 4 p.m. College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, College of Liberal and Fine Arts Saturday, May 15 • 4 p.m. College of Graduate Studies Social distancing must be maintained in all settings.
