The Johnstown Tomahawks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that rookie forward
John Gelatt has committed to further his hockey career playing NCAA Division I hockey at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts beginning in the 2021-22 season.
Gelatt is a 5’11/190 lbs. native of Middletown, New Jersey and has been a standout player on and off the ice for the Tomahawks during this unique season. The 19-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times in 16 games and has received multiple individual honors in the first half of the season, such as division star of the week and forward of the month in December throughout the entire North American Hockey League.

AJ Wells holds a literature and creative writing MA from Auburn University. He was also a visiting graduate student at the Iowa Writers Workshop. He earned his BA from The College of the Holy Cross where he double majored in English and classics and minored in rhetoric. He currently lives in his hometown Buena Vista, Georgia.

RUMSON-FAIR HAVEN, NJ - Four Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School students and football players recently made their college decisions official by signing letters of intent to continue their athletic careers while pursuing higher education.
The four young men, all of whom have played integral roles in the program s success this and in past years, will all be attending colleges and universities on the east coast during the upcoming school year, according to a news release from the school district.
