To keep Manitobans in the loop during the province’s ongoing education reform, Education Minister Cliff Cullen announced the creation of a parent engagement task force on Tuesday.
During an afternoon news conference with reporters, Cullen revealed that this task force will be composed of MLAs, parents and school community leaders, who will be responsible for helping to garner feedback from the public.
In order to kick-start this process, Cullen said the task force will organize 15 virtual town halls throughout the province and host workshops with parent advisory councils and school leaders to explore parental involvement.
