Jenna Hubbs is charged with reckless homicide and DUI.
About 4:20 p.m., Kentucky State Police were notified by Clay County 911 about a single vehicle injury accident on KY 149 in the Manchester area of Clay County, which resulted in one fatality.
The initial investigation indicated that Jenna R. Hubbs, 27, of Corbin, was operating a 2019 Polaris Razor ATV side-by-side, which was traveling northeast on Big Creek Road in the Manchester community, according to a KSP release.
“Mrs. Hubbs lost control of her vehicle; the vehicle left the roadway, and over turned,” KSP stated in the release.
The Clay County Coroner’s Office pronounced the passenger in the vehicle, Johnathan Hoskins, 32, of Manchester, deceased.
Oneida, KY. (May 23, 2021) – Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a call for assistance from Clay County 911 with a shooting incident on KY 1482 in the Oneida Community of Clay County at approximately 02:14 AM.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Jeffery Sean Sandlin, 33 years of age, of Oneida, KY, was having a verbal altercation with Lester C. Daniel, 32 years of age, of Oneida, KY. During argument, Mr. Sandlin retrieved a firearm and discharged the weapon striking Mr. Daniel. Mr. Daniel was transported from the scene by Clay County EMS to Manchester Advent Health Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. Mr. Daniel was pronounced deceased by the Clay County Coroner.
