Men pretending to be tree service workers rob senior citizen’s home, police say

SALEM TWP., MI – Police are searching for three men who stole items from a senior citizen’s home Wednesday by pretending to be tree service workers and distracting the homeowner.
Police were called at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, to a home in the 5800 block of Gotfredson Road in Salem Township for a suspicious incented that turned out to be a home invasion, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.
The homeowner told police answered someone knocking on his door claiming to be from a tree removal service called to remove some trees in the area and asked the homeowner to walk around the property line with him, police said.

LODI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in a road rage shooting on Christmas Eve.
The incident occurred at about 9:45 a.m. in the area of Alber and Textile roads in Lodi Township. Deputies said the suspect fired gunshots, hitting the victim’s vehicle multiple times. Occupants in the vehicle were not injured.

WASHTENAW CO, Mich - The Washtenaw County Sheriff s Office is looking for a car that was involved in a violent road rage incident in Lodi Township Thursday morning.
Authorities say it all unfolded around 9:45 in the area of Alber Road and Textile Road. Apparently, the suspect, last seen driving a 2006-2007 burgundy Chevrolet Impala, fired shots at the victims vehicle. While multiple shots hit the vehicle, no injuries were reported.
Again, police say the suspect was last seen driving a burgundy 2006-2007 Chevy Impala. The car has a damaged driver s side mirror and a black, front replacement bumper.
