Opposition creating chaos in AJK elections: Sarwar

July 14, 2021 LAHORE: Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said the PDM has become a part of the past. Talking to the media after the inauguration of an exhibition at Greater Iqbal Park here on Tuesday, he said the government is not threatened by the opposition rather the opposition has a threat from its own policies. “The ambassador of Kashmir is none other than Prime Minister Imran Khan. Time is not far when Kashmiris will be liberated from the terror of Indian forces. The opposition is creating chaos in Azad Kashmir elections ahead of time because they see a clear defeat in the elections.

Parties in PDM not sincere with each other: Governor Sarwar

July 10, 2021 MULTAN: Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said that the parties in the PDM are not sincere with each other and claimed that there is no threat to the government from opposition. Talking to journalists at Multan Circuit House after laying foundation stone of 72 projects of Punjab Aab Pak Authority and rehabilitation of 11 filtration plants in collaboration with welfare organizations, the Punjab governor said that the opposition demanded elections, but when the government invited them to negotiate electoral reforms, they run away. Opposition to face defeat in AJK elections: Sarwar

June 29, 2021 LAHORE: Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said the next president and prime minister of Azad Kashmir will be from the PTI and political opponents will face defeat in AJK like Gilgit-Baltistan elections. The governor said this during a meeting with PTI leader Shoukat Basra and a delegation of PTI workers from Azad Kashmir at Governor’s House here on Monday. The investment of 1.5 billion dollars in Roshan Digital account is an expression of confidence in government policies. The opposition can create as many hurdles as it wants but the government will not budge an inch from its commitment to give the right of vote to overseas Pakistanis, he said.

Pakistan-Uzbek ties strengthening: governor

June 28, 2021 LAHORE:Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has said Pakistan and Uzbekistan have long and deep historical cultural ties and both countries are getting closer and closer with passage of time. The governor met with Deputy Governor of Namangan region of Uzbekistan along with a 14-member delegation comprising deputy ministers of investment and foreign trade departments, senior officials and top businessman of Namangan region. The meeting took place in Governor’s House. They agreed to promote cooperation in trade, economy, and culture and in other areas of common interest. Details revealed that the Inamov Okibjon, deputy governor of Namangan region of Uzbekistan, Abdullayev Nodirbek from ministry of investment and foreign trade, Muzaffar Abdug from ministry of economic development and other officials joined the meeting.
