The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is collecting data on internet connection speeds throughout the state, and more testers are needed.
Residents are encouraged to test their home speeds using Measurement Lab’s online speed test, which can be found at https://speed.measurementlab.net.
Data produced by the test will provide information to help broadband planning groups target where internet performance is poor and improvements are needed, according to a news release.
