Susan Cameron Daemon is a lobbyist with the Iowa Sheriffs and Deputies Association which has been supporting a “hands free” law in the state for several years. There is technology in dashboards that make hands-free driving possible, but Matthew McKinney, a lobbyist for Nationwide Insurance is asking legislators to consider also banning other types of electronic devices while behind the wheel.
