According to reports, a Kentucky school teacher was arrested after allegedly putting a hit out on his mother. Police say they received a call about Billy Reynolds stating they had been solicited to kill his mother and offered a retainer fee.
Authorities are still investigating exactly why Reynolds wanted to kill his mother. The 41-year-old was formally charged with solicitation of murder.
Carter County Schools Superintendent Dr. Ronnie Dotson said Reynolds is suspended until the investigation is complete. No word on whether that suspension is paid or unpaid. Reynolds s family said they were shocked by the news and were doubly surprised considering that he never found himself in trouble with the law.

Strickland says he doesnât have enough data to offer an opinion on in-person learning but he does offer this advice:
âBut what I say to this whole issue is letâs call time and letâs not tweet at each other, letâs talk to each other,â he said. âSo my recommendation to the folks at Shelby County Schools is, stop tweeting and call the governor.â

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - With pearls delicately hanging from their necks, 5th graders at Rozelle Creative and Performing Arts Elementary dressed the part to watch this historic inauguration.
“I felt amazing watching two people of different races come together to make a better community and being role models to show us that we can do the things that they have done,” said 5th Grader, Kandenise.
The ladies weren’t the only ones to dress for the occasion.
