Police say they received a call about Billy Reynolds stating they had been solicited to kill his mother and offered a retainer fee.  Authorities are still investigating exactly why Reynolds wanted to kill his mother. The 41-year-old was formally charged with solicitation of murder.  Carter County Schools Superintendent Dr. Ronnie Dotson said Reynolds is suspended until the investigation is complete. No word on whether that suspension is paid or unpaid. Reynolds s family said they were shocked by the news and were doubly surprised considering that he never found himself in trouble with the law.
