Tehama County s vaccination clinic continues Tuesday
Tehama County Public Health Department is holding its Covid-19 vaccination clinic Tuesday. Those who fall under the phase 1b with appointments will receive the shot.

Update: 9:41 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 - A free vaccination clinic will continue Tuesday in Red Bluff.
The clinic will offer doses to people categorized in phase 1B and have made appointments. Phase 1B includes people older than 75 years, food packers, and postal workers.
Everyone will be receiving one of two doses of the Moderna Vaccine.
The vaccination clinic is at the Red Bluff Community Center. The clinic starts Tuesday at 10 a.m. and last until 7 p.m.

A.J Crisostomo’s parents have lived in Sacramento’s 95823 zip code since they immigrated to the United States from the Philippines 35 years ago. Since then, nothing has changed their life in their neighborhood as much as the pandemic.
“It’s a little less lively. You don’t see people out,” said Cristostomo, who now lives downtown, but still visits his parents in South Sacramento.
Cristin Mondy, RN, MSN, MPH and area health officer will break down the County Public Health Department’s work to combat COVID-19 and outline its plans for vaccine distribution. Also, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl’s district director for West/Metro Los Angeles, Fernando Morales, will explain what Los Angeles County is responsible for, how it’s organized, and how it works.

Less than 24 hours after the Calhoun County Public Health Department made the announcement that county residents 65 years and older could begin calling to schedule an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, they announced they are blown away with the community’s response.
Calhoun County Public Health Department officials say that due to the extremely high call volumes in response to the initial announcement, clinics are filling up fast. They say they are returning calls in the order they were received and are continuing to schedule more future clinics.
