Glades County walk-in COVID-19 vaccines available Monday

Glades County Public Safety is announcing that the county will be offering limited COVID-19 vaccines on Monday.
They are available by walk-in only, no appointments are available. Walk-ins are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m on Monday, February 15.
The shots are available at the Glades County Health Department, 1021 Healthpark Drive, Moore Haven, FL 34471.
There is only a small allotment of vaccines and walk-ins are limited. These are only first-dose vaccines.

Effective Feb. 22, the Pittsylvania County Department of Elections and Voter Registrar is moving into the new Pittsylvania County Elections and Training Center, located at 18 Depot Street, Chatham, 24531.
The Moore County Sheriff s Office is assisting in the search of the body of a homicide victim at the old Glendon Pyrophylite Rock Quarry site, the department confirmed on Sunday.
Sunday morning, Asheboro Police Department reached out to the Sheriff s Office to assist in the search for a body at the old quarry site on Siler City Glendon Road, and the Sheriff s Office reported to the scene around noon.
Asheboro Police announced on Monday that the search remains for the body of 23-year-old Dillion Zayne Wirt.
Information obtained by the investigating agency said that the body was dumped at a quarry near a church, the Sheriff s Office said. Fair Promise Church is located adjacent to the former quarry site.
