Matthew Heitman, 33, of Hackensack was arrested Thursday after detectives executed a search warrant at his home during the course of a months-long investigation, authorities said. “The investigation revealed that Heitman used the internet to view, download, and possess more than 1,000 digital files and distributed multiple digital files depicting (child pornography),” Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a statement. Heitman was charged with second-degree possession and distribution of child pornography and held at the Bergen County Jail pending a court hearing, Musella said.
