Atlanta Spa Shooting Suspect Faces Death Penalty, Hate Crime Charges
Atlanta massage parlor shooting suspect 22-year-old Robert Aaron Long was indicted Tuesday on murder charges in both Fulton and Cherokee counties, and a prosecutor said her office would pursue enhanced hate crime charges and the death penalty, according to court filings.
The Fulton indictment states that Long was indicted on four counts of murder in the March 16 shootings, along with aggravated assault, domestic terrorism and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony.
Long was also indicted on four counts of murder, criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and criminal damage to property in the first degree, according to the Cherokee indictment.

The prosecutor in the case against a Georgia man, who allegedly shot up multiple Atlanta businesses, said she will seek the death penalty, it was reported Wednesday.
Robert Aaron Long, 22, is accused by prosecutors of killing 8 people, many of whom were of Asian descent. Long was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury for four murders at two Atlanta-area massage businesses in March and is awaiting charges from a grand jury in Cherokee County where four additional people were killed and one was wounded, according to POLITICO.

WASHINGTON, May 11 (Xinhua) The suspect in the March fatal shootings at several massage parlors in the Atlanta area in the U.S. state of Georgia was indicted on murder charges on Tuesday, with a prosecutor filing to seek death penalty for him. Robert Arron Long, 21, was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury for the fatal shootings of four victims on March 16 at two spas in Atlanta. The indictment charges Long with four counts of murder, four counts of felony murder, five counts of assault with a deadly weapon, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and one count of domestic terrorism.

A man accused of killing eight people in shootings at three Atlanta-area massage businesses has been indicted on murder charges.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis says she’ll seek hate crime charges and the death penalty after a grand jury indicted 22-year-old Robert Aaron Long on Tuesday.
Six of the victims were women of Asian descent.
The indictment only covers the four killings that happened at two spas in Atlanta. It will be up to a separate grand jury in Cherokee County to decide on charges in the shooting at a spa near suburban Woodstock in which four were killed and one person was wounded.
