Topekan Troy Allen Vsetecka was charged Monday with crimes that included involuntary manslaughter linked to a traffic crash that killed 7-month-old Braxton Morgan last week as Vsetecka allegedly drove the wrong way on a one-way street at a high speed. Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay said in a news release that he d charged Vsetecka, 51, who was being held in the Shawnee County Jail on a $1 million bond. The charges were linked to a crash in which Braxton suffered fatal injuries shortly before 6 p.m. March 30 at S.W. 5th and Polk. A fundraiser being held on Facebook, which seeks to raise $30,000 to help cover costs for Braxton s funeral and other expenses incurred by his family, had brought in $3,068 as of Monday evening.
