The indictments against Kersey Hinton, 40, and Matthew Hinton, 33, both of Moundville, were issued in April and made public Friday. The husband and wife were initially arrested in July 2020. Charging documents allege one of the children, a boy under of the age of 6, had food withheld from him, was not allowed to use the bathroom when needed and was forced to stand in one place for lengthy periods of time.

Selma man gets life in prison for 2013 double killing that included his estranged wife Updated Apr 21, 2021; A 35-year-old Selma man has pleaded guilty to the 2013 killing of his estranged wife and another victim. Beonridge Bradley III issued the guilty plea Wednesday before Dallas County Judge Don McMillan. Bradley and a co-defendant, 35-year-old Eddie Irvin, were initially charged with capital murder. Bradley pleaded guilty to two reduced charges of murder. Irvin is set for trial in June. McMillan sentenced Bradley to two consecutive life sentences. He will be eligible for parole. The deadly shooting happened in the predawn hours of Nov. 17, 2013. Killed were Kervina Woods, 24, and Donyea Williams, 27. Woods was the estranged wife of Bradley. Woods and Williams had a child together.

Perry Co Grand Jury Indicts Missouri Trio

Alabama News Updated: The three suspects in a shooting in Marion are indicted by a Perry County grand jury. Perry County District Attorney Michael Jackson says each of the suspects was indicted on thirteen separate charges. “Attempted murder charges, conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into occupied buildings, you name it, there are charges everywhere,” said Jackson. Thirty-six year old Lawrence Johnson 38 year old Christopher Roberts and 59 year old Gerald Hogue are all from Missouri. “They came to Marion, it appears for a particular reason. That’s to do bodily harm to some people.” The trio is accused of shooting a man on the 200 block of Booker Street last week in addition to one of his relatives.
