Authorities have identified the couple killed in a shooting on Poplar Street Wednesday night.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant said Willie Lee Hull, 43, and Tasha Hull, 41, were both killed what Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton called a domestic dispute. The couple were married, but not living together, when the shooting occurred at Tasha Hull’s home, Merchant said.
Shelton said Willie Lee Hull shot Tasha Hull and their adult daughter, who is in critical condition at a hospital in another county. Willie Lee Hull also died from injuries obtained in the shooting, though Shelton said investigators do not know for sure whether he shot himself. He confirmed investigators found a weapon at the scene.

Two people have died and their adult child was flown to an out-of-area hospital in what authorities described as a domestic shooting in southeast Columbus Wednesday night.
