Murder and attempted murder charges were filed Thursday against a 67-year-old man who authorities say is responsible for shooting multiple people inside a clinic in Buffalo. A criminal complaint details the case against Gregory Ulrich, now charged with one count of second-degree intentional murder, and four counts of first-degree attempted murder, along with counts relating to homemade explosive devices and possessing a gun without a permit.

Jennifer Lewerenz/KNSI News (KNSI) – Charges have been filed against the man accused of shooting up a medical clinic in Buffalo Tuesday morning. Prosecutors in Wright County charged 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich with one count of second-degree intentional murder, four counts of attempted first degree intentional murder, possession of an explosive or incendiary device, and carrying a pistol without a permit. Wright County Attorney Brian Lutes filed the charges Thursday morning. Ulrich is accused of walking into the Allina Health Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo and opening fire, killing 37-year-old Lindsay Overbay and wounding four other people. Overbay, who had been married for ten years, lived in Maple Lake with her husband and two children. She reportedly went to school at St. Cloud State University, where she earned her degree in journalism.
