He was also preparing for multiple arrests to take place. He planned to offer vaccinations to those arrested to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Those arrested would have been isolated and offered the Moderna vaccine. Once released, they would get instructions on how to get the second shot.

29 NC Sheriffs Sign Letter Urging Biden To Stop Influx Of Migrants At U S -Mexico Border

/ In a letter to the president, dozens of sheriffs from across the country warned Biden that violent crime will escalate if more isn’t done to stem the influx of migrants at the border. Sheriffs from across the country, including 29 in North Carolina, have signed a letter urging President Biden to address the influx of migrants at the United States southern border. There’s been a surge in migrants arriving at the border over the past few months. More than 170,000 were reportedly taken into custody in March. In the letter to the president, dozens of sheriffs from across the country warned Biden that violent crime will escalate if more isn’t done to stem the flow. They’re urging him to resume building the wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and embrace border policies from the Trump administration. They do not say specifically which ones.
