OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A man from Holly is accused of intentionally striking his ex-girlfriend’s brother with his truck
Richard Eric Kalinowski, 52, was arraigned on Tuesday on one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
“It has become far too common to see violence perpetrated as a choice when interpersonal relationships break down,” Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard said. “It is unacceptable and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

A man in Michigan s metropolitan Detroit area was charged in a district court Wednesday on two misdemeanor counts after he was unknowingly caught on camera allegedly pleasuring himself with an Elmo doll during a home inspection.
Kevin Wayne VanLuven, 59, of Clarkston, was arraigned on charges of aggravated indecent exposure and malicious destruction of property under $200.
The incident took place in the home of an Oxford Township couple in Oakland County, part of the metropolitan Detroit area, on March 12. The couple were having their home inspected by VanLuven before its sale.
