An eastern Idaho middle school suffered from a school shooting Thursday, as two students and one custodian were injured, The Associated Press reports. KTVB reports that the shooting occurred at Rigby Middle School Thursday morning. A male suspect was taken into custody. Students were evacuated to a high school in the area. “Today we had the worst nightmare a school district could encounter. We had a school shooting here at Rigby Middle School,” Jefferson School District Superintendent Chad Martin said, according to The Associated Press. “What we know so far is the shooter has been apprehended. There is no further threat to the students.”
