(WIS) - South Carolinians who are over 65 years old can now get in line for the COVID-19 vaccine. On Monday, officials with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control stressed the importance of vaccinating those over 65 years old, saying that it was a conversation between Governor Henry McMaster’s office and DHEC about moving this group from Phase 1C to 1A.

South Carolina Education Association President Sherry East said that some larger districts have been preparing for this for weeks, while smaller districts are just now getting started and working at full speed to get their plans ready.

Their arrest stems from an investigation that began on Wednesday when SLED agents and deputies with the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office responded to “Julie’s” on 1444 St. Delight Road in the Sampit area.
