MOULTRIE, Ga. â A two-vehicle collision involving a tractor sent one person to the hospital Tuesday.
Kishen Patel, of Norman Park, was treated for cuts on his left arm at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, according to the Colquitt County Sheriffâs Office report of the accident. A hospital spokeswoman said he was treated and released the same day.
Patel, in a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup, was traveling west on Cool Springs Road about 2:15 p.m. as Luiz Rodriguez, also of Norman Park, approached, traveling east on a 2019 John Deere tractor pulling equipment behind it.

MOULTRIE, Ga. â Colquitt County Sheriffâs Office charged a woman with possession of methamphetamine who had previously been released on bond for charges of prostitution and possession of meth.
The Sheriff s Office Drug Enforcement Team arrested Allison Gonzales, 35, 600 S. Main St., Friday after receiving complaints of her using meth and soliciting herself at the Town Terrace Inn, according to DET Investigator Channing McDowell.
âWe had done surveillance on the hotel and saw her going in and out of a hotel room,â said McDowell.Â
After confirming that Gonzales was in the room the investigative team knocked on the hotel room and an unidentified man opened the door. The man was not charged with anything due to lack of evidence.

⢠Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast on April 30 in reference to damage to property. The victim advised officers that a brick was thrown through their âroom windowâ and their vehicleâs tires had been slashed, wiper blades broken and the rear passenger door scratched. The total estimate of damages was not disclosed.
⢠Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 10th Street Southeast on April 30 in reference to a theft. The complainant stated that their patio set had been stolen out of their front lawn. The set included an umbrella, table and two high chairs. The estimated value of the set is $400.

MOULTRIE, Ga. â The Colquitt County Sheriff s Office was summoned at 6:30 a.m. April 28 to the 900 block of U.S. Highway 319 South, where the shed and carport area of a residence were engulfed in flames.
The homeowner told the deputy her son woke her when he saw the fire, and they got out of the house.
The deputy said the shed, carport and a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup were damaged, but the main residence was not.
The deputyâs incident report said volunteer firefighters extinguished the blaze but could not determine the cause of the fire.Â
