MOULTRIE, Ga. â Victims in two recent automobile accidents were both treated and released from Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Savanna Michelle Warren, of Norman Park, was injured when a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 pulled out in front of her 2017 Kia Soul on Hopewell Church Road about 5:20 p.m. Feb. 5. She told the Colquitt County sheriffâs deputy who investigated the accident that she could not avoid hitting the truck when it pulled from Country Circle.
Warren was treated and released from the hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said.Â
The driver of the truck, Samuel Cordova, of Country Circle, was not injured, according to the deputyâs report.

NORMAN PARK, Ga. â A Norman Park man was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery â both under family violence conditions â after a woman was set on fire inside a Yates Mulkey Road residence early Wednesday morning.
According to Investigator Ronald Jordan of the Colquitt County Sheriffâs Office, the two were arguing over who drank the last beer when the fight ensued.
The victim, a 44-year-old Norman Park woman, suffered second-degree burns on her back and was transported to Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

MOULTRE, Ga. (WALB) - Recently, Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) honored graduating radiologic technology students during their pinning ceremony at SRTC-Moultrie.
Eight students were recognized at the awards ceremony and received pins to mark the completion of their program requirements: Teyeshia Alford of Moultrie, Anna Buckner of Sylvester, Adam Collett of Moultrie, Brenda De Paz of Tifton, Taylor Jordan of Tifton, Tavia Peterson of Moultrie, Tori Reynolds of Moultrie and Haley Rittenhouse of Moultrie.
