Joe Biden has taken a subtle dig at former First Daughter Ivanka Trump and the role she played in her father s administration.
Accompanied by First Lady Jill Biden in their first interview since moving into the White House last month, the US President told People he intends to run his time in office like the Obama-Biden administration , referring to his eight-year stint as US Vice President from 2008 to 2016.
In a nod to his predecessor Donald Trump s time in office, however, he added that no one in our family and extended family is going to be involved in any government undertaking or foreign policy .

JOY REID: Joining me now is Joining me now is Congresswoman Maxine Waters of California, chair of the House Financial Services Committee. And Congresswoman, it’s always great to talk with you, but I want I specifically wanting to talk to you today because you have been where AOC is, as somebody who s been obsessively attacked by the right, vilified, treated to sexism and racism because you ve been an active, activist member of Congress since you ve been there. We re watching you now back in the 1990s, you know, after the insurrections in Los Angeles. Can you just tell us how you feel hearing somebody like Alexandria Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tell that harrowing story and also your own experience having to be in that capitol on 1/6?

Allahpundit looked into this on Tuesday, but the story behind Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s massively popular Instagram video where she describes her experience during the January 6th Capitol Hill riot keeps growing more convoluted. Despite claiming that she thought she “was going to die” and at least insinuating that rioters were attempting to break into her office, AOC wasn’t even in the actual Capitol Building when all of the action went down. Over at RedState, Nick Arama breaks down the distinctions between reality and perception. AOC’s office is in the Cannon Building which was never breached during the riot. She was briefly evacuated along with everyone else there, but other members were in immediate danger inside the Capitol Building and were far more at risk.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez described Friday’s vote on the Coronavirus relief plan as a “hostage situation,” calling the legislation a gift to America’s biggest corporations and wealthiest residents.
“Each one of us takes this vote alone. This is not an easy position for anyone to take. It’s a tough position, because it’s literally a hostage situation,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
AOC, who is critical of the stimulus, said this when I asked if she was disappointed by Bernie Sanders position in support: Each one of us takes this vote alone. This is not an easy position for anyone to take. It’s a tough position, because it s literally a hostage situation”
Shutdown is nothing more than a rely on government scam
See how this works:
1). The governor shuts down jobs and the economy for a flu that is 99.5 percent survivable.
2). His actions cause people to lose their jobs unnecessarily.
3). People naturally can’t pay their bills and their rents.
4). Our altruistic governor comes to their rescue and uses taxpayer funds to pay 80 percent of their overdue rent as long as the landlord takes a 20 percent loss.
5). The rescued renter hails the state as a hero and who “cares” and is indebted to vote Democrat from here until infinity.
Wise up, folks. We’re just being used for as political pawns.
