Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) held a town hall in Georgia on Wednesday as she came under fire for reportedly indicating support for violence against prominent Democrats in old social media posts, and after an old video of her confronting Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg went viral.
Reporter Meredith Aldis with the NBC-affiliated TV station WRCB said she was invited to the event, and was told when she got there that she wouldn t be allowed to speak to Greene or guests. When she later tried to ask Greene a question about calls for her expulsion from Congress in connection with her social media activity, Greene replied, I m talking to my constituents, interrupting Aldis.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy is facing a renewed challenge in how to approach controversial freshman Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is under fire for newly unearthed comments from 2018 and 2019 in which she indicated support for executing prominent Democrats.
McCarthy’s spokesman, Mark Bednar, responded to reports of the comments with a statement saying, These comments are deeply disturbing and Leader McCarthy plans to have a conversation with the Congresswoman about them.
Among the comments in question is a Facebook exchange, first reported by CNN, from April 2018, in which Greene discussed the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and a commenter asked Greene, Now do we get to hang them ??
