PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Wednesday afternoon, Pfizer broke ground on its new âModular Aseptic Processingâ building, which is expected to create over 400 new jobs.
Located at 7171 Portage Road, the new facility will manufacture a pain medicine called Dynastat. Officials say this drug is sent to several countries around the world.
Portage Mayor Patricia Randall told MLive earlier this week that the expected revenue on the building is estimated to be around $26.7 million over 20 years, along with almost $50 million to the surrounding area over six years.
